A 51-year-old man drowns and dies in the swimming pool at Hotel Pride

A 51-year-old man has perished in the swimming pool at the Pride Hotel on Wardha Road after drowning. The event happened at about 9:15 a.m. Sushant Madhusudan Dhopte (51) has been identified as the dead.

As per customary, Sushant and his daughter Shagun, 17, arrived to swim in the hotel Pride's pool in the morning. The swimming pool is open until 8.30 am, and the coach advised the swimmers to go as soon as the time was up. however, even after the deceased, his daughter, and a different man went swimming.

The child who was swimming there was questioned about her father by the coach as soon as he emerged from the changing room. The girl had no idea who her father was because she was too busy swimming. Sushant's body was discovered at the bottom of the swimming pool after the coach searched.

After learning about the event, a team of Sonegaon police arrived at Hotel Pride. The police say that Sushant may have died of a heart attack after quickly reviewing the CCTV. The police claimed that Sushant was observed drowning in the swimming tank at roughly 9.16 am based on the CCTV footage. The post-mortem report from Sushant's body that the police have forwarded for examination will reveal the precise cause of death.
