A 15-year-old girl was lured into a love trap and raped by seven people, including her lover, in a village within the jurisdiction of the Khapa police station in the Saoner tehsil. On WhatsApp, friends' groups were used to share lewd images and videos of the girl. While the other five accused people displayed the picture and pushed her to engage in physical contact. Twelve people are the subject of a case filed by Khapa police. Dheeraj Hiwarkar, Vedant Awte Golu Likhar, Vikas Hedau, and Lucky Dharma, all of whom were residents of Khapa, have been named as the accused.

A young villager named Dheeraj Hiwarkar defrauded the victim by having an affair with her. He took her to a remote home close to his home on March 2 and engaged in sexual activity with her there. He planned to discredit her by sharing her pornographic images and videos online. He would use that as a means of torturing and blackmailing her.

After threatening her as a result, he asked his pals Nikhil Dhande, Gaurav Khubalkar, and Sushil Dharman to engage in physical contact with her. He threatened to display her picture in the community when she objected. She was coerced into having sex with their village friends Vikas Hedau, Vicky Likhar, Snehal Surkar, and Prannoy Tekade within a short period of time by the accused Dheeraj and Golu Likhar. The explicit images of the girl were shared on WhatsApp by all of the aforementioned suspects.

If they did not engage in sexual activity, the accused further threatened to show the father the pictures. The victim's mental state and physical health deteriorated as 12 local teenagers wanted physical contact. She was then taken to the hospital by her mother. Her mother strongly questioned her as her condition was not getting better. She told her mother about the group repeatedly. The local police and criminal division are looking for the accused kid who fled.
