In an incident unfolding in the Bhande plot area of Sakkardara, love affair took a dangerous turn leading to a violent assault. Shubham alias Montu Ashok Shahu, a 29-year-old resident of Sakkardara, allegedly attempted to murder his own uncle and injured his brother during a heated discussion.
The 35-year-old complainant, who is the uncle of a 17-year-old girl involved in the romantic relationship with Shubham, confronted the situation upon learning about the affair. Advising the girl to distance herself from Shubham, he also urged Shubham to end the relationship. Tensions rose, leading to a scheduled meeting in the Bhande plot area.
During the meeting, which initially seemed calm, Shubham attacked the complainant, stabbing him in the shoulder. The situation escalated when Shubham's brother, Shubhanshu Shahu, tried to intervene and was also stabbed in the stomach. Both victims sustained serious injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital, where their condition is currently reported as stable.
Sakkardara police registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including Sections 307 (attempt to murder), 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), and 294 (obscene acts or words), along with Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act. Shubham Shahu, the accused, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
This incident sheds light on the dangerous consequences of a clandestine love affair, culminating in a violent assault. The legal proceedings are underway, and the victims are reported to be in stable condition as the authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this disturbing incident.
