Four Special Trains to Run Between Nagpur and Miraj for Ashadhi Ekadashi
Central Railway will operate four special trains between Nagpur and Miraj from July 4–7 to accommodate pilgrims attending the Pandharpur Ashadhi Ekadashi Wari fair. Fares are set at 1.3x the regular rate; booking is open via IRCTC.

Nagpur, India: In preparation for the annual Ashadhi Ekadashi pilgrimage in Pandharpur, Central Railway will operate four special trains between Nagpur and Miraj. These trains aim to accommodate the increased number of devotees travelling for the Wari festival, one of Maharashtra’s most important religious events.
According to the railway authorities, two trains will depart from Nagpur on 4 and 5 July, and two return trains will depart from Miraj on 6 and 7 July. Operated under the Train-on-Demand (TOD) scheme, the fare will be 1.3 times the regular ticket cost.
Train Schedule:

Train No. 01205 – Nagpur to Miraj
Departure: 8:50 AM on 4 & 5 July
Arrival: 11:55 AM the next day -
Train No. 01206 – Miraj to Nagpur
Departure: 12:25 PM on 6 & 7 July
Arrival: 12:55 PM the next day
Route and Halts:
The trains will halt at major stations including Ajni, Wardha, Pulgaon, Badnera, Akola, Bhusaval, Manmad, Ahmednagar, Daund, Kurduwadi, Pandharpur, Sangola, and others en route to Miraj.
Coach Composition:
Each train will include 10 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General Class, 2 AC 3-Tier, and 2 guard-cum-luggage vans (SLRD).
Railway officials have advised passengers to book their tickets in advance, either through the IRCTC website or at railway booking counters, due to the expected rush.
These special trains are part of the railway’s efforts to ensure smooth and safe travel for thousands of pilgrims heading to Pandharpur for the sacred Ashadhi Ekadashi celebrations.
