In Jaripatka, the accused couple conned locals out of almost Rs 1 crore. They stole money from individuals under the guise of BC deposits, chit funds, and draws. People discovered the scam when they wanted their money back. Baba, Shubham Shende, Manpreet Singh, Karansingh Tuli, and Sukesh Sharma all lodged complaints against the culprits with the police.

The accused has been named in a case filed by the Jaripatka police. Amit Kakkar and his spouse Harshi Kakkar Jaripatka are among the defendants. The accused pair used to run draw, chit fund, BC, according to the information that was acquired. The accused used to receive money deposits from about fifty citizens. The accused were evasive when the victims asked them to return the money they had deposited.

The victims had undergone security checks. The victims deposited the checks, but the accused took a while to refund the money. Every check bounced. Following this, the victims asked the accused to give the money back once more. The accused were reluctant in spite of this.

Based on information obtained from sources, the accused used to have roughly fifty investors. Only five victims have, however, reported losses up to this point, with an estimated total of Rs 1 crore. The amount might become even more if fraud involving other citizens is also discovered.
