In the Sitabuldi area, a newborn baby was found dead beneath a tree, having been abandoned by his mother. The Sitabuldi police have identified and filed a case against the mother, who is currently hospitalized due to deteriorating health.

According to authorities, the mother, originally from Madhya Pradesh, was romantically involved with a young man. After engaging in a physical relationship, they recently relocated to Nagpur for employment, with the boyfriend subsequently departing for another state for work. On January 4, the woman gave birth to a baby boy at the residence of an acquaintance.

Fearing potential inquiries about the newborn, the mother decided to abandon the baby, leaving him under a tree. Simultaneously, the mother's health worsened, leading to her hospitalization. While in the hospital, she disclosed to the doctors that she had recently given birth and subsequently deserted the infant. Upon receiving this information, Sitabuldi police visited the location and discovered the lifeless baby, whose body was then sent to Mayo Hospital. Subsequently, the police registered a case against the mother, suspecting that the baby's demise may have been due to exposure to cold temperatures.
