Man Stabbed to Death in Kalamna Grain Market After Argument; Accused on the Run

Nagpur, India: A 34-year-old man was stabbed to death at the busy Kalamna grain market on Saturday evening following a verbal dispute. The accused, identified as 25-year-old Vicky Pawar, fled the scene and is currently absconding.
The victim, Bhushan Umesh Jadhao, a resident of Hiwari Nagar, was involved in a heated argument with Pawar near Gate No. 2 of the market. During the confrontation, Pawar reportedly pulled out a knife and attacked Jadhao, stabbing him in the chest and stomach multiple times.
Jadhao collapsed at the spot and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The reason behind the argument is still under investigation, though police suspect personal enmity.
Kalamna police have registered a murder case and launched a search operation to track down the accused. Officers are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and questioning potential witnesses.
The incident has shocked traders and workers at the market, raising concerns about safety and security in the area. Police presence has been increased in the market as the investigation continues.
