Police Arrested Manager Who Fled with ₹14.5 Lakh from Infrastructure Company

In Hyderabad, the police arrested the manager of an infrastructure company who absconded with Rs. 14.5 lakh. The authorities tracked down Kandula Pitchi Reddy, a 45-year-old associate manager at Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited, using electronic surveillance. The incident unfolded under the jurisdiction of the Hingna police station.
Reddy, a resident of Marotinagar, Somajiguda, Hyderabad, was responsible for handling the company's finances. Between December 2 and 7, he vanished with Rs. 14.56 lakhs from the company's office located near Samruddhi Expressway at Datal Camp.
When Reddy failed to report to work and remained unresponsive to calls from the company and inquiries at his residence, a complaint was filed by Valluri Srikant Valluri Ramanaiah. Subsequently, a case was registered against Reddy at the Hingna Police Station, prompting a search for him. Utilizing electronic surveillance, the police traced him to Hyderabad. A team was dispatched to the city, leading to his arrest.
The court has remanded Reddy to police custody until December 26. Police Inspector Vishal Kale, along with constables Pandurang Jadhav, Nageshwar Dasarwar, Anil Zade, and Sanjay Taide, carried out the arrest.
