A deadly outcome resulted from a financial dispute within the property business, as a property dealer met a gruesome end on Sunday afternoon. The victim, Aditya, also known as Vinod or Gotu Ashok Bondre, a 35-year-old resident of Telephone Nagar and owner of Yashasvi Land Developers, was brutally stabbed to death in a moving Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) near Champa village on Umred Road. His assailants were identified as Sachin Parasram Pendharkar (33), a native of Lakhni in Bhandara district, along with his accomplices Roshan Manwatkar and an unidentified person.

The police revealed that Aditya and Sachin, who were business partners, had been entangled in a financial dispute, leading to frequent arguments. Tensions escalated on Saturday, culminating in another altercation. Allegedly, Sachin hatched a plan to murder Aditya and enlisted the help of Roshan and another accomplice in the conspiracy.

On Sunday morning, Sachin lured Aditya with the promise of affordable farmland on Umred Road. They agreed to inspect the land that afternoon. Around 11 am, Sachin informed Aditya of a mechanical issue with his Scorpio SUV and requested him to come with his Fortuner SUV. Aditya and his driver Satish Deulkar arrived in the Dighori area at noon. Sachin and his accomplices boarded the SUV, with one associate sitting next to the driver, and Sachin and Roshan occupying the rear seats with Aditya. The vehicle reached the Champa area, where the accused carried out their brutal attack.

Sachin and Roshan stabbed Aditya with a knife, and when the driver, Satish, tried to intervene, he too was threatened with a knife, according to the police. After multiple stabbings, the assailants fled on foot. Satish rushed the profusely bleeding Aditya to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. The attackers escaped to Pachgaon and disappeared. An investigation into the incident has been initiated by the Kuhi Police Station and Local Crime Branch officials, and a case has been registered under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
