Wardha Road traffic has become a chaotic mess during the day and turns downright dangerous during the after-hours. Nighttime on the Gowari Flyover sees heavy vehicles, which are strictly prohibited, recklessly speeding along with city buses, adding to the peril. Speedsters often drive against oncoming traffic to dangerously overtake slower vehicles, putting returning Garbha program attendees at risk. Unfortunately, this has become a daily occurrence with no authorities in sight to curb this nuisance.

Cars speed down Ramdaspeth road as it empties out during the late hours, as thrill-seekers take advantage. The closure of the stretch between Panchsheel Square and Rani Jhansi Square has left long-distance heavy vehicle drivers in a difficult situation. These vehicles avoid using the flyover, causing a bottleneck and leading to a slow U-turn maneuver at Panchsheel Square to reach their destinations. Subsequently, they speed up on the flyover where their class of vehicles is prohibited.

The recklessness isn't limited to a single vehicle type. Long trailers carrying containers, lorries, tankers, city buses, and other heavy vehicles are commonly seen speeding down the Gowari Flyover and beyond.

The absence of proper regulation on the flyovers is inviting accidents. Some men or illuminated signs at each end of the city's key flyovers are urgently needed. The Wardha Road stretch from Panchsheel Square to Rani Jhansi Square has remained barricaded with tin sheets since an old bridge, neglected for repairs, was washed away in September due to torrential rains. This section is off-limits to all vehicles, and daytime traffic in the busy Sitabuldi area has been diverted through alternative routes.

The condition of certain streets near Sitabuldi Metro Station and the Stadium are deteriorating due to ongoing concretization work, making daytime driving more cumbersome. 

 The roads around the city demand immediate attention, lest reckless driving and disregard for regulations lead to further accidents and loss of lives, particularly among two-wheeler riders.
