Nagpur is enjoying a lively and colourful event as the SimplyDesi Sahkar Mela 2025 takes place at Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha, Deo Nagar, from February 14 to 17. The event, organised by SimplyDesi and Sahkar Bharati, is attracting visitors with its handmade crafts, rural art, and cultural performances.  

The mela has over 120 stalls featuring small businesses, self-help groups, and NGOs from across India. Visitors can shop for handmade clothes, jewellery, home decor, and eco-friendly products.  

Live art and craft workshops like coffee painting, tie-dye, pottery, and block printing are keeping families and children entertained. With Valentine’s weekend adding to the excitement, the mela also offers a special shopping experience for couples looking for unique handmade gifts.  

Seeing the enthusiastic response, SimplyDesi has announced plans for five more similar events in Maharashtra in 2025 to support rural artisans and promote eco-friendly businesses.
