Sonegaon police have taken strong action against a group of individuals who caused chaos at Dabo Restaurant, physically assaulted a couple, and threatened other patrons with a mauser gun. The incident occurred during the night of Saturday and Sunday. An FIR has been registered against the accused under sections 354, 324, 506(B), and 204(9) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The accused, identified as Ajay Thakur, Ranveer Thakur, and Anna Thakur, have been booked by the police.

According to police sources, a party was organized at Dabo Restaurant on Saturday night, which attracted crowds from affluent areas. During the party, a group of intoxicated individuals went on a rampage, attacking a couple and threatening to open fire.

While other patrons were able to flee, the Sonegaon police were reportedly not immediately responsive. Initially, a non-cognizable offence was registered in this case, but after reports of the police's inadequate response, the higher-ups in Nagpur police became involved and an FIR was finally registered.
