On 18th March 2023, Nagpur witnessed a historic event with the biggest Inclusive Unique Cooking Contest held at Zero Mile Station, Freedom Park, Nagpur. SVK Shikshan Sanstha, in association with L.A.D. and S.R.P College for Women, Nagpur, organized the event to support an inclusive society and promote millets on the eve of the International Year of Millets.

SVK Shikshan Sanstha, an NGO that empowers intellectually challenged adults, organized the biggest Inclusive Millet Cooking Contest in Nagpur on March 18, 2023. The event, held in support of an inclusive society and to promote millets on the eve of International Year of Millets, created history by bringing together 540 participants from all walks of life, including intellectually challenged, physically challenged, deaf and mute, visually challenged, and third gender individuals.

Dr Sunita Dhote, Professor at Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management and the Adjudicator from Asia Book of Records, formally announced the successful feat and presented the certificate and medal from Asia Book of Records to Gayathri Vatsalya, the record holder. The event was graced by Chief Guest Kanchan Tai, Nitin Gadkari, Chairman of Samrudhi Cooperative Bank and Senior Social Worker, and other dignitaries.

The event also featured informative talks on the importance of consuming various types of millet, healthy lifestyles, and healthy eating habits. The evening concluded with cultural performances by highly talented beneficiaries of SVK Shikshan Sanstha, Apang Mahila Bal Vikas Sanstha, and Jeevandhara, followed by prize distribution to the winners of the cooking contest.
