Woman Harassed Inside ATM Booth in Nagpur, Accused Arrested

A 30-year-old woman was allegedly harassed inside an ATM booth in Nagpur’s Tehsil area. The accused was arrested after the victim reported the incident to the police. Further investigation is underway.

Nagpur, India: A 30-year-old woman was allegedly harassed inside an ATM booth in the Tehsil police jurisdiction on Sunday, 2nd February.

The accused, identified as Prakash Purushottam Pathrabe (37), a resident of Jagannath Budhwari, Timki, reportedly made obscene remarks and inappropriate gestures towards the woman while she was withdrawing cash from an ATM in Itwari.

Despite her objections, Prakash continued his inappropriate behaviour, causing distress to the woman. She immediately reported the incident to the Tehsil police station. Acting swiftly, the police registered a case, launched a search operation, and arrested the accused.

Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
