Jaripatka police have arrested two individuals, Tapish Bagde and Rushab Kawle, on charges of robbing an elderly manager and subsequently lavishly showering bar girls with the stolen money. The court has granted the police one day of custody to conduct further investigations.

The incident took place on June 17 when the victim, a manager at Gajbhiye’s Bharat Gas Agency, was riding his bike home. The accused individuals kicked his bike in Laghu Vetan Colony and made off with three lakh rupees. Despite the initial investigation yielding no substantial leads, the police eventually managed to trace the culprits to a hotel in Mumbai, where they had been indulging themselves and spending money extravagantly at various bars for several days. The accused individuals had gone to the extent of changing their SIM card and acquiring a new mobile phone. The police successfully apprehended them in Mumbai.
