13-year-old's Hanging Death Shrouded in Mystery; Similar Case of 12-year-old a Week Ago

The mysterious death of a 13-year-old girl found hanging from a horizontal pipe inside her hut in Samta Nagar, Kapil Nagar police jurisdiction, has raised questions. A long scarf was used in the tragic incident, resembling a separate case reported a week earlier.
In this latest incident, authorities suspect suicide, but local residents are expressing concerns about possible foul play. The victim, Khusbhu, also known as Khushi Sarad, was alone at home during the discovery. Khushi, an eighth-grade student, lived with her parents and seven-year-old brother in a small hut on agricultural land they looked after.
Her parents were at work, and her brother was away when the tragedy occurred. No suicide note was found, and the motive behind her death remains unclear. Khushi was found by neighbors who promptly informed her parents. The identity of the first discoverer is still unknown. When the police arrived, many people, including her parents, were already at the scene. The family's hut is situated on agricultural land, with other houses some distance away in different farm fields.
The previous incident involved 12-year-old Harshit Naidu, also an eighth-grade student, who was found hanging from his family's under-construction house in Shravan Nagar, under Wathoda Police jurisdiction, just a week earlier. He had used his mother's scarf in a similarly puzzling situation. Police have not yet determined how the scarf ended up with Harshit when he went out to play after returning from school.
Harshit's parents were shocked to discover the scarf used in the tragic incident. No suicide note was found, and the cause of his unnatural death remains unexplained. Meanwhile, Khushi's post-mortem was conducted on Sunday, and her body was returned to her parents for the final rites.
