20 J1 variant patients were discovered in Nagpur

In Nagpur, up to 20 cases of the corona virus's "JN.1" strain were discovered. While 12 patients are receiving therapy in home isolation, 8 of them have made a full recovery. These "active" people, according to the doctors, have moderate symptoms and a stable health. Eleven ladies are included.
42 suspected patients' samples were forwarded by the health department to Neeri's lab for genome sequencing. Twenty patients with the "JN.1" variation were identified in all; 18 of them were found in urban regions and 2 in rural ones.
According to data released on Friday by the Union Health Ministry, India has seen 761 new cases of COVID-19, while the total number of active cases has decreased to 4,334.
