50 charging stations to be installed by Mahavitran on three motorways, including Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Expressway

50 EV charging stations will be installed by mahavitaran on three main thoroughfares, including the Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Expressway. Mumbai-Pune, Mumbai-Nashik-Jalgaon, and Pune-Kolhapur are the other three highways. In order to obtain land for this use, the corporation has written to the state government, the State Road Development Corporation, and the National Highways Authority of India.

The goal of the federal and state governments' promotion of e-vehicles, according to officials, is to lessen pollution and the nation's reliance on foreign fuel. However, not all places have e-vehicle charging facilities. Consequently, electric vehicles need to be charged either at home or at a few other locations' charging stations. Mahavitaran has chosen to install charging stations on the state's main thoroughfares as a result.

In the initial stage, four charging stations will be installed. Aside from this, a lot of customers have been using domestic electricity to charge e-vehicles up until now. The cost of household power is more than the cost of charging a car. Customers were receiving enormous bills as a result. Customers now have the choice to use a second power connection from Mahavitran for charging their vehicles. Promoting e-vehicles is the goal here.
