A costly error resulted in the young man being scammed of Rs 14.62 lakh

A young man was tricked out of Rs 14,62,509 by cyberthugs who promised to give him extra money when he finished the work. The victim reported the fraud to the authorities after learning about it. Ashish Bhimrao Pavnikar (31), a resident of Bhagyashree Nagar, Kharbi Road, has filed a complaint with the police.
The victim was employed by an IT firm in the past. He had been out of work for a few months. The victim received a message on Telegram from an unidentified accused party on October 13. offered the promise of payment upon finishing the assignment.
At first, a certain sum was credited to his account once the assignment was finished. More money was used to entice the victim and gain their trust. He was duped into making a cash deposit in exchange for this. The victim gave the accused access to lakhs of rupees across multiple accounts.
When no benefit or reimbursement of the specified amount was obtained, the fraud was discovered. Police have begun an investigation and filed a case against the unidentified accused.
