Aastha Special Train Faces Stone Attack Near Nandurbar, Maharashtra

In a worrying incident, the Aastha special train headed to Ayodhya from Surat was hit by stones near Nandurbar in Maharashtra on Sunday night. The train, carrying 1340 passengers, experienced the attack at 10:45 pm, causing fear among those on board.
According to Nandurbar Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjay Mahajan, some passengers managed to close the windows during the attack, but a few stones got inside the coach. The Nandurbar Railway Police is now looking into the incident.
Despite this unsettling event, the police conducted a quick check and allowed the train to continue its journey from Nandurbar railway station late at night.
On Sunday, Union Minister of State for Railways Darshana Jardosh had started the Ayodhya Dham-special tourist 'Aastha' train from Surat to Ayodhya at 8 pm. This incident raises concerns about the safety of passengers during special train trips, urging authorities to promptly address and investigate the matter.
