Assault Occurs Following Dispute Over Cattle Fodder Dust
A confrontation erupted in Devi Nagar, Jaripatka, when a man, infuriated by the dust entering his house from cattle fodder, attacked his neighbour with a knife, causing injuries. The victim, Gajanan Bondre (42), was assaulted by Dilip Kubalkar. Bondre, who transports cattle fodder in his vehicle, was loading fodder on Saturday evening when Kubalkar confronted him, alleging that fodder dust had entered his residence. The dispute escalated, leading to Kubalkar assaulting Bondre with a sharp weapon, inflicting serious injuries, after which Kubalkar fled the scene. The Jaripatka police have registered an assault case in connection with the incident.
In a separate incident, thieves unlawfully entered two shops in Wadi, stealing goods valued at 23, including cigarettes. This incident has instilled fear among the traders in Wadi.
