Boyfriend Takes Loan in Girlfriend's Deceased Mother's Name in Nagpur
In a disturbing incident, Pachpaoli police have filed a case against Praful Bale, a 35-year-old resident of Pyramid City, Beltarodi, accusing him of sexual exploitation and fraud. The charges relate to his alleged mistreatment of his girlfriend and fraudulent loans taken in her deceased mother's name between April 14, 2021, and February 2023.
The victim, a 24-year-old woman, met Bale during the COVID-19 pandemic when her mother was severely ill. Bale provided emotional support, which later evolved into a romantic relationship. He persuaded her to enter a live-in arrangement by promising marriage and had a sexual relationship with her during the mentioned period. Shockingly, he also obtained ₹1.5 lakh in loans from various apps using the victim's late mother's Aadhaar card and PAN card.
The case underscores the need to protect personal information and the vulnerability of individuals during difficult times. The Pachpaoli police are actively investigating, with legal proceedings initiated against Praful Bale.
