Crime Branch Unit-4 Dismantles Drug Smuggling Ring Worth Rs 6.65 Lakh
In a recent crackdown, CRIME Branch Unit-4 executed a raid at Syed Guest House in the Bada Tajbag area, leading to the capture of three individuals involved in drug smuggling, one of whom is a resident of Mumbai. The arrested suspects include Salim Khan (30) from Andheri East, Mohd Sharifuddin Mohd Akbar (41) from Ekta Chowk, and Sheikh Waseem Sheikh Sattar (36) from Sakkardara.
Deputy Police Commissioner Mumakka Sudarshan spearheaded the operation, resulting in the seizure of Mephedrone (MD) drugs valued at Rs 6.65 lakh. Shahnawaz Turk, a fugitive smuggler, managed to evade arrest. A case under the provisions of the NDPS Act has been filed at the Sakkardara police station."
