Direction from the Nagpur Court to sue Amazon for deceiving the consumer

Selling customers phony timepieces has come at a heavy cost to Amazon. Kalmana Police has been instructed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court to bring a fraud prosecution against Amazon. Paramjit Singh Kalsi had filed a lawsuit against the business with the court.
Kalsi searched the internet for an inexpensive watch from a reputable brand. He was looking at watches on the Amazon website and discovered one that he liked for Rs 1,898. He also had the opportunity to view stunning images of a watch from the Swiss business Redo at that time.
On December 19, 2021, Kalsi placed an online order for the watch and paid for it because he also had an annual subscription to Amazon. That order was accepted by MK Marketing Delhi.
He opened the package on the 23rd, finding a generic watch instead of a branded one. Realizing he had been duped, he hurried to the Kalmana police station. However, Kalsi filed a court application against Amazon and the seller because the police did not register any charges. The court mandated that legal action be taken against Amazon.com. the Kalmana as well as Investigators were tasked with filing a report in accordance with regulations.
