Divisional Commissioner Reviews Preparations for PM Modi’s Events
Nagpur is preparing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on March 30, 2025. Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari recently held a meeting to review the preparations for the events planned during his stay.
The meeting was held at the Divisional Commissioner’s office and was attended by senior officials, including MahaMetro Director Shravan Hardikar, Municipal Commissioner Dr Abhijit Chaudhary, NIT Chairman Sanjay Meena, District Collector Dr Vipin Itankar, and Joint Commissioner of Police Nisar Tamboli. Representatives from organising institutions were also present.
The discussions covered PM Modi’s arrival at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport and his visits to Smriti Mandir in Reshimbagh, Deekshabhoomi, Madhav Netralaya, and Solar Explosives Company. Bidari instructed all departments to work together smoothly to ensure the success of these events.
With only a few days left for the visit, authorities are focusing on final preparations related to security, traffic management, and event planning.
