In the last 3 years, 1195 Young Girls have gone Missing from the City

In Nagpur, the city of the home minister, up to 1195 youngsters have vanished from their homes during the past three years. Since all of these females are minors, an abduction case has been opened by the police. The parents are worried since it has been discovered that the majority of missing females are in classes 10–12.

In the previous three years, there has been an increase in the state's rate of missing minor girls, young women, and married women. Teenage girls between the ages of 14 and 17 fall in love because they are attracted to one other physically. They choose to flee their house out of pure love, unable to consider the future.

They have greater faith in their partner than in their parents when they leave the house. The Supreme Court has ordered that if a girl under the age of eighteen goes missing, the police station must file a case of abduction. To find the young girl, an anti-trafficking unit has been established in each police commissionerate and superintendent's office.

There have been 1195 missing young girls from Nagpur between March 2021 and March 2024. 1163 girls have been successfully tracked down by the police. In addition, 426 small children went missing during this time, and 415 children were searched by the police. 32 girls and 11 boys are still unaccounted for by the police department as of right now.
