Inauguration of Indamer-Airbus Helicopters MRO Facility in Nagpur

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility for Airbus Helicopters at the Multi-Modal International Cargo Hub and Airport (MIHAN) in Nagpur. This facility is a collaboration between Airbus Helicopters and Indamer, aiming to provide after-market services for helicopters in India.

Airbus Helicopters and Indamer have partnered to offer MRO services for Airbus helicopters. Indamer will operate these services at its facilities located in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Nagpur.

The Nagpur facility was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The event was attended by key representatives, including Executive Vice-President of Customer Support and Services for Airbus Helicopters Romain Trapp, Director of Indamer Aviation Prajay Patel, President and Managing Director of Airbus India and South Asia Remi Maillard, and Head of Helicopters, Airbus India and South Asia Sunny Guglani.

The MRO services will be available at Indamer's facilities in major cities such as Mumbai, New Delhi, and Nagpur. This strategic distribution ensures accessibility and efficient support for Airbus helicopters across different regions in India.

This collaboration signifies a step toward enhancing helicopter maintenance services and support in the country. The MRO facility aims to contribute to the aviation industry's growth and ensure the continued airworthiness of Airbus helicopters through timely maintenance and repair services.
