CBI Arrested Four, Including Two PESO Officials, in Nagpur Bribery Case
In a significant development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has detained four individuals, including Deputy Chief Controllers of Explosives (PESO) officials Ashok Kumar Dalela and Vivek Kumar, on charges of bribery in Nagpur.
The CBI, during a house search, seized Rs 2.15 crore. The arrested individuals are identified as Ashok Kumar Dalela, Vivek Kumar, Priyadarshan Dinkar Deshpande from Laxmi Nagar, Nagpur, and Devi Singh Kachhawaha, the Director of M/s Super Shivshakti Chemical Pvt Ltd., located in Village Shripura, Tehsil-Rawatbhata, District Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
The CBI operation took place at a typing shop near the PESO office in the Seminary Hills area. All four accused are scheduled to be presented in the CBI court today.
