More Than 2,000 Women Disappear in Nagpur District Over Eight Months

To address this alarming situation, the Nagpur Police has initiated the Bharosa Cell and Police Didi initiative at the police station level. These initiatives involve teams of police officers visiting schools, colleges, private tutoring classes, slums, and women's hostels to counsel adolescent boys and girls.
According to Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis, the rate of finding missing persons within the City Police Commissionerate limits is 88%, and the rate of finding abducted persons is 94%. These statistics suggest that the police are actively working to locate and rescue missing individuals.
