Nagpur, India: In a remarkable display of swift policing, Nagpur Crime Branch Unit 3 arrested three individuals within two hours of an attempted murder case being registered in the Tehsil police station area. The prompt action has drawn praise for the city police's rapid response and efficiency.

The case was registered as Crime No. 384/2025 under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including charges related to attempted murder, conspiracy, and destruction of evidence. The crime had created a tense atmosphere in the locality, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement.

The three arrested accused have been identified as Prem alias Khandya Chhotulal Kumbhare (20), a resident of Mahadev Mandir area in Pachpaoli; Saksham Kshirsagar Tambe (20), from Barse Nagar, Pachpaoli; and Jay Dilip Gandhi (19), also from Mahadev Mandir area. Acting on specific intelligence, the Crime Branch traced and detained the suspects from the Tehsil area shortly after the complaint was filed.

Following their arrest, the police conducted the necessary legal and medical procedures before transferring the suspects to Tehsil police station for further investigation. Authorities have also updated their criminal records and digital footprints to monitor future activities.

The motive behind the attack is currently under investigation, with police officers suggesting that further interrogation may uncover additional details or connections to other criminal incidents in the region.
