Nagpur Florists Enjoy Profitable Rose Day with Earnings of Rs 1.2 Crore
Valentine's week kicked off with a bang for city florists, who earned a total of Rs 1.2 crore in sales. On "Rose Day," the first day of the Valentine's week, roses that used to cost no more than Rs 20 were sold for Rs 30 to Rs 50. Flowers of all types were in high demand at popular flower spots throughout the city, including Ramdaspeth, Chhaoni, Sadar, Siatbuldi, Dharampeth, Medical Square, Gandhibagh, and Mahal.
Vijay Wanjari, the President of the Netaji flower market, reported that roses were in high demand this year, and for the first time, there was also a demand for artificial roses. With this successful start to Valentine's week, city florists are looking forward to a busy and profitable week ahead.
