Nagpur to Witness Major Power Outage on 28 May Due to MSEDCL Maintenance

Nagpur, India: Several areas across Nagpur are expected to face a major power outage today as the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) undertakes planned maintenance work. The outages are part of a scheduled effort to upgrade and maintain power infrastructure ahead of the monsoon season.
The power cuts will affect different localities at various times throughout the day, mostly between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Areas Affected and Timings

7:00 am to 12:00 noon: Rajshri Nagar, Telangkhedi, Trupti Society, Ramteke Nagar, Jaivant Nagar, and nearby areas.

8:00 am to 11:30 am: Abhay Nagar, Fulmati Layout, Jaiwant Nagar, and Rameshwari Road localities.

8:30 am to 11:30 am: Dante Layout, Shantinath Society, Trimurti Nagar, and surrounding neighbourhoods.

8:30 am to 12:00 noon: Tandapeth, Naik Talao, Ladpura, and parts of East Nagpur.

9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Nandanvan, Hasanbagh, MIG, LIG, and HIG colonies.

10:00 am to 12:00 noon: Boriapura and nearby lanes.

11:00 am to 1:00 pm: Ambazari Layout and Kasabpura Layout areas.
MSEDCL officials stated that the outage is necessary to carry out pre-monsoon checks and essential maintenance work. The upgrades are aimed at improving reliability and preventing breakdowns during the rainy season.
Citizens are advised to take necessary precautions, such as charging essential devices in advance and planning their day accordingly.
