NMC Offers 15% Rebate on Online Property Tax Payments Till 30 June
Nagpur, India: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has announced a 15% rebate on property tax for citizens who pay their dues online by 30 June 2025 for the financial year 2025–26. This incentive is part of NMC's efforts to encourage digital transactions and boost timely revenue collection.
Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Milind Meshram, stated that those who choose to pay offline at designated tax collection centres will still receive a 10% rebate. However, he urged property owners to make use of the online system to benefit from the higher discount and avoid last-minute rush.
The rebate applies to residential and commercial property holders, excluding those covered under special categories such as education cess, Employment Guarantee Scheme (EGS), and large building schemes.

Meshram further appealed to citizens to pay their taxes promptly, highlighting that early payments support the development and maintenance of essential civic services.
