NMC's Street Light Fittings Worth Rs 7.65 Lakh Stolen from Godown
Unidentified thieves have stolen street light fittings valued at Rs 7.65 lakh, which belong to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). The theft occurred at a godown situated in the Ganeshpeth area.
The theft transpired between October 3 and 20, during which the material was stored in a godown located at Phule Market.
The burglars gained access to the godown by breaking open the latch of the front door before making away with the valuable material.
Sunil Navghare, an employee of the NMC, reported the incident to the authorities. In response, a case has been registered by the Ganeshpeth Police under Sections 454, 457, and 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
