Pardi Police Launch Manhunt for Trio Behind Rs 3 Crore Bank Fraud

Pardi Police are intensifying efforts to apprehend three individuals involved in a massive bank fraud case, wherein they illicitly established a bank account in the name of Kanchan Prabhakar Meshram (30) and executed fraudulent transactions totalling Rs 3 crore over the course of the past two-and-a-half months.

The suspects have been identified as Salma Sujat Ali (30), residing at Plot No 101, Shambhu Nagar, Tiranga Chowk, Koradi, Gajendra Akankar (42), a resident of Wathoda, and an individual named Harshal, who is believed to be associated with the bank.

According to Meshram's complaint, her friend Salma, in collaboration with Gajendra and Harshal, unlawfully obtained her personal documents and acquired a Reliance Jio SIM card. With Harshal's assistance, they proceeded to open an ICICI Bank account in Meshram's name and conducted fraudulent transactions amounting to Rs 3 crore between July 17 and October 14 of the current year. Additionally, Meshram alleged that the accused fabricated documents for a shop in her name, further defrauding her.

In response to the victim's complaint, the police have filed a case against the accused under Sections 406, 420, 467, 471, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. An ongoing investigation is underway to bring the culprits to justice.
