Police Successfully Rescued a Minor Girl from Red-Light Zone
In a significant operation, Lakadganj Police jailed numerous women involved in the prostitution trade within the red-light area of Nagpur. The extensive search, spanning approximately four hours, took place on Friday and resulted in the rescue of a minor girl.
Acting on information about the potential exploitation of minor girls for prostitution in the Ganga-Jamuna area, the police devised a strategic plan to address the issue. The operation involved thorough searches of various rooms and basements within the identified premises.
Following the operation, the apprehended individuals were brought to the Lakadganj police station, where a case is in the process of being registered against them. This decisive action by the police aims to curb illegal activities and ensure the safety of minors within such establishments.
