Pratap Nagar Police Arrested a Suspect in Rs 19.06 Lakh NMC Funds Case

Pratap Nagar Police arrest has been made in connection with the misappropriation of funds belonging to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Rohit Beniram Bokde, a resident of Prayas Nagar, Ghogli, Besa Road, and an employee of Writer Business Services Pvt Ltd in Trimurti Nagar, stands accused of embezzling over Rs 19.06 lakh.

On November 16, Bokde, employed as an ATM/CIT operator, was entrusted with Rs 19,06,821 in cash collected from the NMC's Laxmi Nagar, Mangalwari, and Nehru Nagar zones.
