Property Dealer Fatally Shot by Business Partner in Nagpur's Mominpura
In the early hours of Wednesday, a 52-year-old property dealer, Jamil Ahmad, was tragically shot and killed by his business partner, Mohammad Parvez Mohammad Haroon (24), in the Mominpura area. Both were involved in property dealings, and disputes over property proceeds had escalated, resulting in a fatal confrontation.
Around 1:30 a.m., Parvez, accompanied by two associates, confronted Jamil at his residence. In a fit of rage, Parvez pulled out a gun and shot Jamil in the eye, leaving him mortally wounded. After the attack, the assailants fled the scene.
Jamil's wife, Nahida, filed a police complaint following the incident. Tehsil Police has initiated an investigation, and an autopsy is scheduled for the deceased. An offence of murder has been registered against the accused, and the inquiry is ongoing.
