Question arises on the Safety of the Passengers at Nagpur Airport
The suspect was detained by Sonegaon police after being accused of harassing a female passenger on board. On Monday, the accused raped a 40-year-old woman upon landing during the flight from Pune to Nagpur.
Firoz Sheikh has been named as the defendant. Noor Mohammad Sheikh, 32, resides at Mithanagar's Durrani Complex in Kondhwa. He was seated next to a 40-year-old woman. Feroze approached the woman while the jet was landing at Nagpur Airport, making lewd gestures and then assaulting her sexually.
Before filing a report at the Sonegaon police station, the woman initially notified the flight crew about the situation. Police have detained Feroze and filed a report of molestation against him.
