Atrocity & Molestation charges filed against RTO Officer Ravindra Bhuyar

Sub Regional Transport Officer Ravindra Bhuyar has been accused of molestation and cruelty. On the basis of a woman officer's complaint, a case has been opened.
Bhuyar and the worried female officer have been at odds for a very long time. The woman had already complained about Bhuyar to the top transport department personnel. In this sense, several charges were leveled. In a similar manner, Wajahat Mirza, a member of the Legislative Council, was mentioned when Bhuyar was asked for a bribe of 25 lakhs. Both men were arrested in this instance, and after the woman eventually reported the incident to the police, they opened an investigation against Bhuyar.
Bhuyar used to summon her to his cabin without warning and make her wait for hours. Additionally, pornographic videos were broadcast on mobile devices under the guise of promoting road safety. Bhuyar also engaged in caste discrimination. There were unwelcome conversations about her among the department's associate officers and staff. He threatened to get involved in the ACB case if the female cop didn't listen to him, the officer claimed. The police have filed a case against Bhuyar under the categories of molestation, abuse, threats, and brutality in response to her allegation.
On January 16, 2023, the female officer had reported to the Transport Commissioner about Bhuyar's ongoing sexual harassment. The Grievance Redressal Committee was then directed by the Transport Commissioner to look into the situation. On March 1, 2023, the Women's Grievance Redressal Committee gave the Transport Commissioner a report on its investigation. However, due to the injunction issued by the civil court, no further action was taken. As a result, the complaining officer woman petitioned the High Court.
