Robber Dies After Being Pushed by Victim During Robbery
In a tragic turn of events, a 19-year-old robber, identified as Nikhil Tiwari from Pipla Road, Hudkeswar, succumbed to a head injury after being pushed by a man resisting a robbery on Great Nag Road on Wednesday afternoon.
Lokesh Goud (29), a resident of Bhavani Nagar, Kharbi, who works in tile fitting, was returning home after work when he was accosted by a juvenile and Nikhil on Great Nag Road. The assailants forcibly took a silver bracelet worth 4,500 from Goud, who attempted to resist the robbery. In the ensuing scuffle, Goud pushed Nikhil, causing him to fall and sustain a head injury. Nikhil lost consciousness and was promptly rushed to Mayo Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
