Shocking Arrest: School Security Guard Accused of Abusing Three-Year-Old in Nagpur

A middle-aged security guard employed at Star Point Convent school in the Nandanvan area has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a three-and-a-half-year-old girl on the school premises last week.

The arrested individual has been identified as Anil Chauhan. Nandanvan Police faced challenges during their investigation as it was discovered that the school's CCTV cameras were not accessible for reference. This incident has once again heightened concerns about security among the parents in the Second Capital of the State.

According to police sources, the matter came to light when the young child experienced a bout of bed-wetting. Subsequently, after her parents gained her trust, she confided in them about her distressing experience.

Following the parents' complaint, Nandanvan Police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the POCSO Act 2012 against Chauhan and taken him into custody.
