Tragedy Strikes Nagpur: Teenage Boy and Youth Take Their Own Lives in Separate Incidents

In two separate incidents on Thursday, a 17-year-old boy and a 24-year-old unemployed youth tragically ended their lives in Nagpur.
Atharva Satyendra Shrivastava (17), a resident of Priyadarshini Colony, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, and a Standard XI student, was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan with a rope in his room at No 14, A to Z Ventures Boys Hostel, opposite Karnataka Sangh, Gokulpeth, around 12 noon.
Despite efforts by hostelmates and the warden to revive him, Atharva was declared 'brought dead' at Dande Hospital. The body was then sent for post-mortem at Government Medical College & Hospital. Atharva, who was preparing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for MBBS admission, left no suicide note, and the motive behind his tragic decision remains unknown.
Ambazari Police, acting under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, have seized Atharva's mobile phone for further investigation.
In a parallel incident, Laksh Mahesh Jugani (24), an unemployed youth residing at Flat No 302, Deep Apartment, Ujwal Nagar, Wardha Road, took his own life by hanging himself with a 'dupatta' attached to a ceiling fan in the early hours of Thursday. Sonegaon Police reported that Laksh, grappling with unemployment and distressed by his family's financial struggles, succumbed to the weight of his circumstances.
