Ashok Rai and Daughters, with Anandam Vidyalay, Launch Menstrual Hygiene Drive in Pauni
Ashok Rai and Daughters, in association with Anandam Vidyalay, organized a menstrual hygiene awareness drive at Anandam Vidyalay and Laxmi Rama Hall in Pauni. The initiative, led by Khushboo Pasari with support from Neha Pathak and Kshitij Jane, reached hundreds of schoolgirls and rural women.
The program combined sanitary napkin distribution with interactive workshops on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and breaking taboos. Participants were encouraged to speak openly, helping foster confidence and community support.
Director Falguni Bhatt and Principal Monali Wankhede of Anandam Vidyalay played a key role in facilitating the sessions and motivating students.
“This mission is not only about sanitary pads but about dignity, confidence, and changing mindsets. When families stand by their daughters, transformation begins,” said Khushboo Pasari.
The initiative was well received by students, teachers, and local residents, positioning Pauni as a model for community-led action on menstrual hygiene.
