Nagpur Traveler's to Enjoy Direct Ticketing to Europe with New IndiGo Service
Nagpur, India: From 1 July, air travellers from Nagpur will enjoy easier international connectivity as IndiGo introduces one-ticket flight options to Manchester and Amsterdam via Mumbai. The new service will allow passengers to book their entire journey on a single PNR, making travel more convenient and hassle-free.
The move comes as IndiGo launches its first long-haul international flights from Mumbai to Manchester (starting 1 July) and Amsterdam (from 2 July). Both routes will operate three times a week using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, leased from Norse Atlantic Airways.
For passengers flying from Nagpur, the schedule is designed to ensure smooth connections. Flights to Manchester will depart from Nagpur around midnight, connecting with IndiGo’s early morning international service from Mumbai. Similarly, the Amsterdam-bound flights will see passengers leaving Nagpur at 10:35 PM, reaching Mumbai in time for the 5:20 AM departure.
Immigration formalities will be completed in Mumbai, further simplifying the process for international travellers departing from Nagpur. This system allows for baggage check-in directly from Nagpur to the final European destination, saving time and effort.
This new service is a major boost for Nagpur, which until now had limited international travel options. Business travellers, students, and tourists are all expected to benefit from the improved connectivity.
IndiGo’s entry into long-haul operations with these flights also positions it as the first low-cost Indian airline to connect Mumbai directly to major European cities, expanding international travel possibilities for cities like Nagpur.
