Nagpur-Goa 760 Kms Expressway to Cost Rs 86,300 crore

The Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Fadnavis, have recently declared that the technical and financial utility report for the Maharashtra Shaktipeeth Highway, also known as the Nagpur-Goa Expressway, is currently in preparation.
The proposed expressway will span a distance of 760 Kms, extending from Paonar in Wardha district to Patradevi in Sindhudurg district, and will require an estimated cost of Rs 86,300 crore for its construction.
Various significant religious sites will be connected through the Nagpur-Goa Expressway including, Mahur, Tuljapur, Kolhapur, Ambejogai "Shaktipeeth", Two "Jyotirlinga" at Aundha Nagnath and Parli Vaijnat, Takhat Sachkhand Shrihajur Sahiba Gurudwara at Nanded, Vitthal Rukhumai Temple at Pandharpur, Karanja Lad, Akkalkot, Gangapur, Narsobachi Wadi, and Audumbar.
