Police Arrested Six Individuals in Connection with the Murder of Police Assistant Rakesh Mishra

Six people have been arrested in the case of the murder of a police assistant named Rakesh Mishra. The owner of a bar, Deepak Verma, along with his associates, paid a total of 74 lakh rupees to contract killers for the murder. They had given an initial amount of 24 lakh rupees as an advance. Deepak also promised more money and help with getting bail from the police after the job was done. He asked the Dandekar brothers and their associates to carry out the killing.
After Rakesh's murder, angry citizens protested outside the MIDC police station. The crime branch's unit-1 arrested five suspects, including Sagesh Dandekar from Pune and one from Nagpur. These individuals are Rahul alias Sinnu Sanjay Shinde, Devansh Sharma, Hasan Khan Anwar Khan, Vedant Santosh Mankar from Yavatmal, Amir Mustafa Shah, and Rajiv Nagar.
On the night of August 16, Arjun Dandekar and his brother Ganesh Dandekar, along with their accomplices, killed Rakesh Mishra and severely injured his friend Ravi Jaiswal.
After suspicions arose that Rakesh's murder might be a contract killing, senior police officials ordered a thorough investigation into the matter. As a result, bar owner Deepak Verma and his partner Ashwin Pradhan were arrested. Deepak Verma, who is also a known scrap dealer, is believed to be involved in the case. His accomplice Sachin is also under suspicion.
