The name of Itwari Railway Station is now Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose

The official name of the Itwari Railway Station in Nagpour is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The Nagpur East Krishna Khopde MLA demand has been granted. Despite the Home Ministry's June 16, 2023 notification, the announcement was made on Tuesday, Netaji's birth anniversary.

Two railway stations will now bear Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's name, according to a statement from the Railway Ministry. Gamoh, located in Jharkhand, is the other railway station bearing his name.

Major intersections for the Howrah-Gaya-Delhi, Mumbai-Allahabad, Gomoh-Muri Branch, and Adra-Gomod Railway lines were located at the Gamoh Railway Station. Known by its formal name, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Junction Gomoh, the station was constructed in 1906.  

Metaki Express was the new name for the Kalka Mail. 1941. It is located in the state of Jharkhand's Dhanbad division. The SEC Railway's Nagpur Division, the origin and destination of roughly 14 trains, shall henceforth be referred to as Netaji Itwari Railway Station.
