Eight tigers have recently been released into Sahyadri Tiger Reserve

The effort to evacuate two tigers from the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve's Chandrapur district has gathered steam as of the third week of May. The Sahyadri Tiger Reserve may now welcome the release of eight tigers after receiving approval from the National Tiger Conservation Authority. As a result, a forest devoid of tigers will soon hear the roar of a tiger.

There is one tiger and one tigress in it. Ninety-five percent of the state's 444 tigers are found in the jungles of Vidarbha. A few years ago, the Wildlife Institute of India examined forty-four samples of sahyadrit faeces.

There were seven tiger specimens. All seven of these tigers, nevertheless, are migrants. Tigers from the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve were reported in the 2014 census. But the tiger never made this place home. Through Doda, tigers were introduced to this initiative.

Additional research has shown that the project's corridor rupture is the reason why tiger migration has ceased. Although it could have housed 20–21 tigers, the Sahyadri Tiger Project in the Western Ghats was unable to establish itself here.

Scientific research has now, however, solved the challenges. Consequently, Mahip Gupta voiced his conviction that this endeavor will make tigers howl.
